1) Avoid Chemicals and Excessive Heat

• While you can wear your accessories throughout the day, it is best to remove them during activities that expose them to excessive heat or strong chemicals, such as showers, sauna sessions, or contact with detergents and washing solutions.
•  Allow at least 30 minutes after applying personal care products (e.g., makeup, hairspray, lotion, perfume) before putting on your accessories. Also, remember to remove them before going to bed. A good rule of thumb to remember is that accessories should be the last things to put on and the first things to take off. 
• Please note that prolonged exposure to these substances may affect the cosmetic appearance of the accessories, especially for the Precious Stone Series, which is more sensitive to heat and humidity.

2) Proper Storage

• Store your accessories flat and keep them separate from other jewellery items to prevent chips and scratches.

3) Regular Cleaning

• Over time, natural acids from body oils and sweat can dull the Ge Ball. To prevent this, gently wipe your accessories with a soft velvet fabric before returning them to the jewellery box.
• Periodically rinse the accessories with tap water and use a soft towel to pat them dry. No washing chemicals are required. Use a soft brush to remove any accumulated dust or dirt trapped in the accessory links.

4) Handle with Care

• The Ge Ball is made of pure Germanium to ensure the full effectiveness of its health benefits. Due to its purity, it is fragile, and accidental dropping or knocking on surfaces can cause it to chip or crack.
• Some chipping around the pin-hole area may occur over time due to regular wear. It is also advisable not to wear the necklace while sleeping.

5) Natural "Aging"

• Please be aware that the Ge Ball may gradually change its colour over time due to body temperature and individual body conditions. This natural process is unavoidable and irreversible once it occurs. However, it does not affect the health properties of the Ge Ball.
• If you wish to restore the colour of your Ge Ball, you can bring your accessories to any OWELL outlet for a professional polishing service, available at a minimal charge.

6) Timepieces

• OWELL Bio-Ge Titanium Health Timepieces are designed to withstand water resistance up to 5 ATM. It can withstand splashes of water and rain. However, you are advised to take care of your timepieces by removing them when showering, swimming, diving, or in a sauna.
• If your timepiece is manual/ automatic, wind it regularly to keep the mainspring tensioned and the movement running smoothly. 
• Timepieces require periodic servicing to ensure their accurate functioning and longevity. We recommend sending your timepiece for a professional overhaul service every 3-5 years, available at a minimal charge.
